How to Buy Meme Coins (Step by Step)
If you've never bought a meme coin before, this is the shortest path from zero to your first trade — with the traps flagged.
Step 1 — Pick a chain
You buy meme coins on the chain they were launched on. In 2026, the four you'll see most are:
- Solana — cheapest, fastest, most launches. Best starting point.
- Base — cheap L2 on Ethereum, growing meme scene.
- BSC — low fees, big Asia audience.
- Ethereum — highest fees, mostly larger-cap memes.
Step 2 — Choose how you want to trade
- Cash Mode: the default. Sign in, add funds, and trade in dollars without wallet prompts.

Step 3 — Add funds
